The 2013 Tobacco Tax Report Card aims to provide a comprehensive report on the status of tobacco tax systems across the ASEAN region and provide recommendations on how these can be improved. It aims to assist policy makers, tax and health officials and advocates in attaining the common fiscal and public health objectives of saving human lives, saving on health care costs and providing sustainable funding for tobacco control and health promotion.
